


With a background in Engineering and Business Management, a Masters in Philosophy (Business), and an MBA from Dublin City University, Declan has been working within the Anglian Water Group (AWG) for over 20 years, holding various operational, senior management, and board-level positions. In addition to implementing the strategic direction for Alpheus, he is Managing Director for Anglian Venture Holdings which is the parent company of Alpheus and its’ sister companies Celtic Anglian Water Ltd, Tide Services Ltd, AVH Solar Ltd, AVH Parks Ltd, AWG Property Ltd and Wave. Declan is dedicated to developing a culture that promotes continuous improvement and innovation in collaboration with our partners, our clients, and our extended family of businesses within the Anglian Water Group.



Chris holds an MBA and Master’s Degree in Water Management from Cranfield University. Joining Alpheus in 2016, Chris brings over 18 years of professional water industry experience, having held previous positions in Yorkshire Water, Anglian Water, and commercial retailer Wave. As Managing Director, Chris leads our growing Operations, Engineering, and WMR teams, with a strong focus on people development, safety, and empowerment to help achieve optimal delivery for customers, whatever their project or contract goals.



David joined the company in 2010 having held several roles across the Anglian Group. He has overall responsibility for all financial aspects of the company. David has an MBA from Henley Business School and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA). He has more than 20 years’ experience within the Anglian Water Group.



Joining Alpheus in 2000, Marcus has overall responsibility for managing the delivery of our field operations throughout the UK. With over 20 years in the industry, he is a highly experienced and practical-minded Mechanical Engineer, and ensures that our high standards of safety, performance, quality and compliance are consistently delivered by his team of experienced engineers. Customers from Kent to the Scottish Highlands highly value his strong focus on cost efficiency, working closely with our clients to develop and deliver opportunities. Marcus holds an HNC in Engineering and various Managerial and Safety qualifications, including IOSH (ms).



Fionn holds a Master's degree in Water & Wastewater Engineering from Cranfield University and brings more than 12 years of global experience across the water and wastewater asset lifecycle. Having previously held roles with Barhale, Anglian Water and Jacobs, he now leads Alpheus' major programme delivery, strategic initiatives and relationship management, driving sustainable growth, strong governance and a positive safety culture.
A respected industry leader, Fionn supports the development of future water professionals through his roles as Non-Executive Director at the Institute of Water, Chair of the IWA UK Committee and of the IWA Utility Leaders Forum.



Having joined the company in 2001, Ming is involved in a wide range of activities including process optimisation, front-end feasibilities, engineering design, and delivery of capital projects on water and wastewater assets. He is responsible for managing the Alpheus Engineering team and for the successful delivery of all capital and engineering projects. Prior to joining Alpheus Ming worked at a waste management company optimising/upgrading their landfill leachate facilities, and at an industrial research and consultancy group specializing in fluid engineering and fluid mixing. Ming is a chartered chemical engineer having gained his university education in China and a PhD at Bradford University.



After joining Alpheus in 2005 Holly has progressed to UK Commercial Contracts Manager after starting her career as Helpdesk Co-ordinator and progressing in responsibility through Account Management and Service Delivery roles. Holly’s extensive experience in delivering service excellence to a number of high-profile clients, and her in-depth knowledge of our sites and customers across a wide range of industries, enables her to co-ordinate effective contract delivery and provide added value services to our customers to help them to achieve their operational and environmental goals.



Since joining Alpheus in 2000, Catherine has advanced from service delivery and account management to her current role as Waste Management and Recycling Services Manager. In this capacity, she oversees customer service and waste recycling site teams, ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of liquid waste disposal and recycling services. Catherine is dedicated to fostering individual development and promoting operational excellence. Additionally, she sits on the Environmental and Waste Committee for the National Association of Drainage Contractors and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management.



Frank has a background in biochemistry and chemical engineering, with a fermentation-based PhD. He has worked in the water treatment sector for over 20 years, within both Site Operations and Technical & Engineering teams at Alpheus. He is the company’s subject matter expert for anaerobic digestion, pharmaceutical wastes and the Industrial Emissions Directive (he was a member of the UK delegation to the Combined Waste Water and Waste Gas (CWW) BREF Technical Working Group). Frank’s academic links to both teaching and research help ensure that the next generation of engineers and technicians in Alpheus will have the knowledge they need to deliver industry leading service to our clients.



Bradley Morris joined Alpheus with extensive experience across the UK water and wastewater sector, having worked with several major utility companies, as well as delivering operations, maintenance, and projects for SMEs and OEM equipment suppliers. He joined Alpheus as Southern Operations Manager, overseeing a portfolio of water recycling and anaerobic digestion facilities, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving high standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.
Passionate about developing people and delivering excellent customer outcomes, Bradley now leads the Mining Remediation Authority contract, helping to protect and enhance the environment through safe, reliable, and innovative operational delivery.



Joining Alpheus Environmental in July 2026 as Central Services Manager, Deborah brings extensive experience in commercial, financial and operational leadership gained across a range of industries. She plays a key role in supporting business performance, contract delivery and organisational growth, working closely with key clients and operational teams to drive efficiency, deliver value and build strong relationships. Deborah holds an HNC in Quantity Surveying, is an accredited NEC3 Project Manager and maintains IOSH certification.



James is a Chartered CIPD Member with postgraduate diplomas in HR andLeadership, Executive Coaching and Mentoring. An accredited Workplace Mediator,he has extensive HR experience across various sectors, including Water, Retail,FinTech and Financial Services. His role is to support Alpheus in achieving itsbusiness objectives through effective people strategies, leadershipdevelopment, and promoting a positive workplace culture.



Scott manages Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) for Alpheus. With over 30 years’ experience in the waste water industry, Scott has previously worked in various roles throughout Alpheus. He holds an NCRQ Level 6 in Applied Health and Safety , is a qualified Lloyds Quality Register Lead Auditor (LQRA) and is a QCF (Quality Curriculum Framework) trainer which enables him to deliver the CIWM (WAMITAB) qualifications. Scott is responsible for leading the HSEQ processes and systems throughout the business to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and management systems.



As Head of Business Development, Phil has over 35 years of hands-on experience in the environmental sector. He has supported developers, investors and industrial businesses with the development and delivery of wastewater treatment and reuse facilities , waste management systems and sustainability projects, very much aimed at the net-zero and circular economy agenda. Much of his work focuses on helping organisation’s make commercial sense of complex waste streams, associated logistics, and energy and water recovery opportunities. Whether it’s supporting early-stage feasibility or helping move a project from idea to operation, Phil brings practical experience, commercial insight, and a collaborative, problem-solving approach across various industrial sectors. Phil holds a Leader Status position within ISM – Institute of Sales Management.



Dan joined Alpheus in the summer of 2022. He brings over 15 years of experience in Bid and Proposal Management from different industries. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. Dan plays a pivotal role in Alpheus' commercial sales team, helping to win future projects and contracts.



Alexandra brings over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications and brand management, built upon her Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification. As Sustainability and Engagement Manager at Alpheus, she combines her passion for audience-focused internal and external communications with a growing focus on sustainability, social value and stakeholder engagement.
