Project Delivery
Both projects were delivered smoothly and efficiently, with Alpheus completing all works within a two‑week period. As both locations are popular public parks, visitor safety and minimal disruption were top priorities. From day one, the team implemented clear boundaries, robust protective barriers and well placed signage, enabling the public to continue enjoying the parks safely throughout the works.
Throughout the project, Alpheus worked closely with the AVH Parks team to ensure that all activities were fully aligned with policies and operational standards. They demonstrated a strong commitment to compliance, particularly in the application of CDM requirements, ensuring the works were planned, managed and delivered in line with AWS expectations and industry best practice. This collaborative approach ensured a high-quality outcome, delivered safely, responsibly and with care for both the public and the environment.
At Rutland Water, the new packaged treatment plant has been installed, connected and commissioned in readiness for use when the Visitor Centre reopens in Spring. Once live, the plant will ensure safe, reliable treatment and long-term environmental protection.
At Grafham Water, the 40,000-litre holding tank is ready for use once a new tenant takes over the former cycle centre unit. Although not yet live, all infrastructure and safety features are in place, providing a reliable interim solution that also allows for an easy upgrade to a full treatment plant if future demand increases.
